| So, I agreed to take home a mommy cat from work once she had her kittens. I said I'd foster them until they were old enough to adopt out. That is easy because the mommy (Daisy) takes care of them, I just have to keep up with changing the paper in the cage and making sure her food and water and litter box are good to go. Well, Darlene had Susanna call me today to tell me that Daisy was ready to pop and that she did not need to be having the kittens at the Center. Sooo....Susanna brought home Daisy and a cage and some supplies. I finally got back here around 10:30 and was hoping the labor would be over with by then. We sat by her cage and watched her for a few hours while I listened to the end of the Carolina game. She is not havin' those babies! She needs to get on the ball!!!!!! But Carolina won the game! They kicked the Maryland boys' butts. I am happy Carolina won, but it sucks that Maryland had to lose. Oh well. :o) Well, I'll keep everyone updated on the kitty watch. Have good evenings everyone!!!! | | |

K, so I was all ready for my lazy day with laundry and television today. Nope, my phone started ringing at about 8:30 this morning. Work. Darlene needed to get a tooth pulled so I had to go in around 4. Okay. I will. No problem. Then my phone rings around 10:30 and its Darlene. I need to come in around 2:30 and then can leave around 4:30 or 5. Okay. I will. No problem. I get there around 2:30, waiting for 5 to come....it comes, and goes. Still no John. He needed to be there for me to leave. Darlene called me around 4 to tell me that her dentist won't pull her bad tooth because it can be saved. They want to do a root canal instead. She wanted to know the name of my dentist so she could go to a different one for a second opinion. So, off they go to find a new dentist. More time passes...and then some more. So finally, I get tired of waiting, and I call John. Apparently, Darlene had finally been called back at the emergency room to get her pain meds and he'd be there in about 20 minutes. I was like, then I'm gonna leave. There are no customers, and a full staff. I'm out! So I got to leave around 5:40. Yay!
So, a quick stop to the liquor store on the way home and here I am! I have to take a shower, clean the apartment, and get ready for poker night!
----But First----
So now for the detailed account of Spring Break......
We got there, and Jess and Brad were running late. We needed their money to pay off the rest cause they didn't get checks to me in time. So, we didn't know when they'd get there and the office closed at 6. Joey and I went into the office and explained the situation, she let us check in and we just had to pay later on. So, we got keys and directions and headed off. I tell you, it was the most beautiful cabin! We all hung out and finally Jess and Brad got there. We hung out for a little bit then the whole group headed off to Wal-Mart and dinner. We kicked it at the Krystal. Now, for those that have never enjoyed the magic that is Krystal....it is a burger joint like White Castle with the baby burgers that are cheap and tasty! Yay!! We all drank, played pool, and had a jolly time. End of day one.
Sunday we all played golf. Well, the boys all played golf while Jess and I drove golf carts and took pictures and made videos. It was fun, until we had to pee. That was an adventure that Jess and I shall not share. :o) Then we all got Mexican food for dinner and headed back to the house and drank some more. End of day two.
The rest of the week included ice skating, riding up and down the mountain in Gatlinburg on the Ober Gatlinburg, lots of arcade time, lots of Krystal time, me thinking Phil and Matt died in Knoxville one night, and a little bit of secret stuff too. What kind of girl would I be if I told all of our stories?
Well, one story is funny....there was a girl that worked at Krystal that was hot for Matt. Phil and I gave her his number and told her to call him. Then later that week we went back (she didn't call...) and some old lady that worked there said, "which one of you boys gave my daughter their phone number?" hahahahaha!!! It was funny.
Oh! and another story! On the way up there, Joey and Matt were doing their rule the road games....fun times. Speeding and swerving and passing in the emergency lane. I was having a ball. And since I'm 100% innocent its not like I was passing a water bottle to Matt and Phil while driving 85 down the interstate. I would never do a thing like that. SO, Joey and I get pulled over. Joey had just passed on the emergency lane and we thought the cop saw us. We were scared. Matt and Phil didn't see us get pulled over, so they were just continuing on their merry way. The cops start harassing us about the driving. "Do you know the red mustang?" "We've been getting calls about you all across our county. You've been upsetting a lot of our drivers." blah blah blah... So, in the end we get no tickets or anything...just a lecture. It was fun. I felt like a criminal! That is the most trouble I've been in. VERY EXCITING.
K, no more stories. I'm off to get in the shower. | | | | | |

http://www.chestnutridgecabin.com/chestnut-ridge-cabin/chestnut-ridge-cabin.html
So amazing....I can't believe how pretty this place is! Not to mention, how nice is it going to be to have a grilled Cheesebeth sandwich every night!!?!?! Matt, Joey, and I are sharing a room...king size bed with me and the boys....ahh how exciting. It is a good thing none of us are skeezers and we are clean people! Otherwise things might get kind of skanky. But don't worry kids, we'll behave.
Remember how much I hate Shania Twain?
Okay, so I'm watching the movie Willard right now with my roommate Susanna. Creepy!!! But oh so good!!! I loved it. But I hate having to explain it to Susanna, we walked into it late and I'd seen a little of it before, so I am trying to explain it. It is hard when I don't know all of the story.
Alrighty kids, I'm thinking that during Spring Break I have GOT to have at least 5 really good stories to tell when I get back. Some hilarious, outrageous, you'll be so jealous you weren't there stories. I can do it. Easy.
To recap, Spring Break is amazing...can't wait!! Willard is a great movie...go rent it today!! and I still hate Shania Twain.
Goodnight. :o) | | |
| Okay kids...I have GOT to get better at this updating thing. Let's see....SPRING BREAK is coming soon!!!!!!!!!!! As usual, I have to leave town and get away from all the crap that life consists of here in Columbia, SC. What will be the destination this year? Well, Jessica and I decided we didn't want to do the normal beach thing. Last year we did all that beach stuff. We got a condo on the beach, drank, met boys, don't remember all of it, spent lots of money...bored. We do that every summer too. This year we wanted to do something different. This year, we are going to Gatlinburg, TN to a cabin in the woods. There will be a small group of us, lots of alcohol, cards, a pool table....that sounds promising. I'm excited. You can't beat that. The mountains, beer, and friends. Hell, I might even try to snowboard or something. Well, at least ice skate. Jessica and Brad are coming, along with me, Joey, Matt, and maybe one of their friends. We won't have a big group, but you don't need one in the mountains.
I hate Shania Twain.
Let's see....Oh! I got my wisdom teeth out this past Friday. I was so scared. He gave me all of the drugs possible. It was neat! I don't remember a thing and I didn't take any of the drugs they sent home with me. No pain! I'm so buff! I have to go for a follow-up next week, I hope I don't get a dry socket. My sister did...not fun. Oh well.
Still hating Shania Twain.
Classes are going ...... they are going. Classes will be at their best during Spring Break! I hate school. Thank God this is my last semester. I am really done with higher education.
Did everyone see the Grammy's? I watched some of it. It is so boring now, I hate all those awards shows. I like the pre-show stuff where you see what people are wearing and that is all. They should just have made up special events that people get all dressed up for and show that, without the boring awards part. That is good television.
Okay, I hate those songs where there is a slow part in the middle of it and all they do is talk, but almost a whisper...and to the beat. It is so stupid. Just sing or end the song.....ass.
Alrighty, this is a good update...until next time! | | |
